This is a pretty decent entry, I had fun stumbling across all the innuendos! 10/10 would play again if you could enter/peep on the Women's Bathhouse while it was full.
Some feedback!
- I did come across some issues with the shaders, and I thought you might want to see them. Depending on where you stand behind the trees, you do get completely covered, and against walls, you see this sort of thing happen.
- I had issues with seeing where they were having this conversation. I guess I was hearing it through the walls behind the fireplace?
- The back and forth between the two guards talking ran way too long for me. I would suggest definitely thinking about shortening that interaction.
- I did manage to beat the quiz (fun touch!), but sneaking past the soldiers proved too difficult for me. I was not built to be an assassin it seems.
Thanks for the fun time!
I liked the environments on display here, the quiz in one of the rooms was a nice touch. Some of the doors proved very temperamental for me.
Well..
The game seems fine, but the optimization is really bad (maybe Unreal Engine 5 wasn't the best choice for a 10-day game jam). Anyways, due to the lack of graphic settings and optimizations, I was not able to play the game correctly.
I understand it's not entirely your fault because Unreal Engine 5 is quite heavy, but the issue is that the game doesn't run well on standard devices. Considering the visuals and the number of props present in levels, it's not normal.
So yeah, I'm a bit embarrassed because I don't know how to rate your game...
Hi,
Thank you very much for testing Message For P.
It's quite odd that you weren't able to test it out. We conducted tests on our end, and the game worked flawlessly on every computer belonging to the team members, including a 5-year-old laptop.
Could you please share your computer specifications with us? This will help us optimize the latest build to ensure compatibility with lower-spec computers as well.
Hello ^^
Thank you for your reply :)
For personal reasons, I don't have access to my desktop computer, so I need to rate all games on a laptop.
I insist, as I said, it's not a gaming laptop (maybe your 5-year-old laptop is?), it's a standard laptop.
(I also have another laptop, but this can't even launch Minecraft XD)
As a matter of fact, it does not possess a dedicated GPU but an integrated APU, but regarding the type of this game, it should be able to run just fine.
If I can have access to my desktop before the end of the ratings, I will play the game again on it to be able to rate it at its true potential :)
but I cannot promise because I don't know when I will have access to it :(
Here are the specs of the laptop:
APU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G
Memory: 4GB (DDR3)
Disk: WD 500GB HDD
I know it's bad, but it should be enough to run the game (but I insist it's not your fault, Unreal Engine 5 is really heavy even for small games).
Hi :)
Okay I can try but I'm not sure if 3D games using Unreal Engine needs a dedicated GPU or not, I'm gonna check this just in case!
Just in case, if you cannot play the game, would you like me to record myself while playing it so you can see the gameplay and be able to rate the game ?
Let me know ! ;)
Hello! ^^
Sorry for the late response XD
I would love to see a gameplay of the full game if I cannot play it.
It would be very nice of you :)
Have a good day/evening! ^^
