The Historically Accurate Game Jam is a friendly video game-making competition with historical themes, generally taking place twice a year. In previous jams, we've covered themes such as the Cold War, The Black Death, Your Country's History
- for HAGJ8, the theme was Famous Assassinations!
The winning team of HAGJ8 received free Steam Keys for Curious Expedition, thanks to the sponsorship of its developers, Maschinen-Mensh! They were also given bragging rights with the "Guests of Honor" server role on the Official Discord Server until the next jam!

The Chronology of Events:
- Theme selection rounds ran from the 28th of January - 18th February.
The final theme was voted on from the list of 39 themes suggested by the community. - The jam ran from the 19th - 29th February. We had a total of 28 game submissions!
- From the 1st - 14th of March, participants rallied together and gave 192 ratings, and the winners were announced on the 15th of March.
