This was really, really cool - I like the random generation and it definitely captures the tone of the myth!

I don't have much feedback, but that's only because I don't have much to complain about. Controls are maybe a little awkward, sword feels a little jank, but besides those little jam things that don't really matter too much in the context of a 7 day game, it rules.

Thanks for playing and thanks for your feedback! I'm reeeeally bad at animating, so the sword just slides horizontally :) It's enough for me though.

Any way, thanks!

I've played about two thirds of the games at this point and this is the best so far. I see from the credits you used lots of free assets but you have done a superb job blending them all together. I want to play this the whole way through but I stopped after 12 minutes which is about 10 minutes longer than I have spent on most of the others :).
The mouse movement is extremely sensitive on my PC - it would be great if that could be adjusted. Also, if you could make it feel like you are progressing (maybe with the NPC texts?) - at the moment it does feel a bit random although random dungeons each time is great. Finally, left hander controls please ;). It's a bit tricky to duck and work the mouse with the same hand!

Thank you very much for playing and for your feedback! I did some improvements thanks to your comment:

  1. mouse sensitivity in the configuration menu
  2. Minotaur now shows injuries as it takes damage, when the injuries are fully visible, the minotaur is about to die.
  3. Run and Crouch can now be performerd with right shift and right ctrl, in addition to previous left shift and left ctrl. I hope it helps.

This was interesting, it certainly captures a more horrifying feel that I imagine would be part of actually being in the Minotaurs labyrinth. Wandering around dark dungeon hallways while hearing a cow in the distance has certainly never been so unnerving.

I really liked the technical touch of the thread following the player as you walk through the labyrinth. The procedural generation also fits in nicely to ensure the player is as lost as Theseus was in the myth. Also I'm not sure how many hits the Minotaur is supposed to take to kill but I must have hit him at least 10 times and he still wouldn't die.

Some of the dialogue of the sacrifices were a bit weird, even funny at times. But I noticed from your profile that English doesn't seem to be your first language so it may not be intentional so its understandable.

Overall I thought this was a neat retelling of an iconic myth. Great job!

Thanks for playing and your feedback! The sacrifice's dialogues were a last minute thing and didn't think a lot about them, but it were just for fun, so I'm ok with them beeing weird :) And, yes, I'm spanish

The Minotaur had 25 life points, your comment made me think about it and now there are 3 levels of difficulty, which also affects map size and Minotaurs strength.

  • Easy => Minotaur has 9 life points and makes 1 point of damage per hit. Map is 20% smaller.
  • Normal => Minotaur has 15 life points and makes 2 points of damage per hit (same as original). Original map size
  • Hard => Minotaur has 25 life points and makes 3 points of damage per hit. Map is 20% bigger.

Thanks again for your feedback! :)
