How does it fit the theme?
You are the last remaining candle. The oxygen is slowly fading and the last lighted flame will soon extinguish. . . Your only opponent: carbon dioxide or, in plain words, the absences of air.

Did you make all or the majority of your assets?

I feel like in a lot of ways, the game works against you instead of for you! I do agree it was punishing at times. I really liked the ambiance for the game in general tho! It was def a mood and a vibe. I just wish exploration was more forgiving and I couldn't finish the game cuz i kept running out of fuel/wax! Thanks for jamming!!! I enjoyed the game! It was super cute, and from an art perspective, looked polished!

The game play was interesting, but I felt like I was being punished for exploration and trying new things, specifically in regards to using wax to unlock stuff. The wax supply (at least from what I found) was limited, but there were plenty of doors to unlock. There wasn't enough wax to unlock doors, and with mechanics like the hot metal that can degrade wax reserves, exploration felt punished.

Admittedly, it was somewhat frustrating to complete the platforming area, only to realize I didn't have enough wax to go through and all wax on the map was depleted, so I soft-locked myself there, which shouldn't be possible. I'm not sure what a proper workaround for this would be--maybe just a cooldown on burning doors down? I don't feel like something essential to progression should be a limited resource.

Otherwise, I thought it was fun!

You pretty much need a perfect run, that was in the games design for the theme. Probably not a good idea for a full flashed game, thats true. Thank you for the feedback!

This is a cute little game with a good calming and mysterious soundtrack.

Though, I found it super difficult since the air gusts are a one-hit-kill and come out of nowhere.

I didn't like that it felt like I was forced to use the minimap most of the time. If that was the better view, maybe it should've been the main view? Or is there a way to rotate the camera that I didn't figure out?

And just as an FYI: Eternal*, Fuel*

Thanks for the writing fix. Not my first language.  😅

May make it more easy when updating after the jam. Just one life for know. And indeed the camera perspective was quite a hassle. Just have the problem with the jumping part where the other view would be better. I could move the camera in those areas. Would that be better? Like an automatic switch when entering the area?

I figured it wasn't your first language 😋 No worries!

Yeah, I think that would be a lot better. Or give the ability to turn the camera to see the character at all times
