I finished my game! My original idea was to:

1. Make Hangman more complicated for no good reason

2. Nest games of Hangman inside each other, in order to accomplish #1

I completed both of these, but during playtesting I found that the game was actually pretty fun as well! Bonus. 

So I hope some of you are able to play it in a family restaurant or a classroom someday.

Edit: I made a video that teaches the rules, since it seemed hard to explain in writing. I recommend learning the game this way.

That is a cool game! The explanation makes sense to me, although the use of gendered pronouns was a bit distracting; sounds like a really neat asymmetric competition!
