Love the ambience and aesthetic of this game, really sets the mood and some of the sound effects are appropriately off-putting. I unfortunately didn't make it very far into the game (this isn't really my genre, and I found some of the enemies to be frustrating, explained below), but I do see a lot of potential for a successful game here.

My notes

- The light circle wasn't always centered on the mouse (or even in the flashlight's beam) when it spawned, just a minor bug.

- Enemies need a bit more reaction to the flashlight beam. Right now they give a bit of a sound and flash when they take damage, but it's a little bit subtle. It'd be nice if the effective beam stunned them or pushed them back a bit cause right now it's a bit too easy to overlook that your beam is having an effect.

- I felt like I was always running away, even when I knew how to deal with enemies. This kind of pairs with above, if the effective beam temporarily stunned or slowed down an enemy so that I could feel like I had more strategic approaches than just kiting. Maybe this occurs later in the game, but I never made it past the wolfman (I have a guess on how to defeat it, but I was too worn out from kiting the little guys to go back and test it).

Anyway, I definitely see a market for this kind of game and the mood is already perfectly set, so keep it up!

I love the concept of using different types of light as different kinds of weapons. Love that there are enemies and creature that i still haven't figured out, leaves me wanting more!

Thank you! We appreciate your entusiams!

The atmosphere is great, and there's some types of enemies to discover, that's good, I don't know yet what to do with the big guys, surely I'm no match for them. Would love to see a bit more of polish: health bar, tutorial, menu... It would have made it a round entry. Congrats on your game!

Developer

Thank you. The game is surely rough and incomplate, we did not manage to finish it in the time we had, but we will come back to complete it!

Really like the concept of using two different types of light to ward off creatures.  The atmosphere and sound are nice and spooky.  A little direction would have helped as you do feel kind of like you are just wandering.  All in all I am excited to see where this one goes.  I will keep tabs on it for sure.

Having just submitted a horror game of our own its really cool to see how others approached their games.

Thank you! We realize that without the story introdution is pretty hard to figure out some monsters and to have a proper feel for what you are doing but time was a tyrant! Can't wait to try your game too!

>What was the most frustrating moment or aspect?

Still not sure what to do about the big guys. I got sandwiched between 2 of them of different colors a few times, and since they don't seem to react to the light the result was death.

>What was your favorite moment or aspect?

There's a good horror atmosphere.

>Was there anything you wanted to do, but couldn't?

I wanted to find a way past the 3 (or 4?) big guys near the current starting position.

>If you could change, add, or remove any 1 thing, what would it be?

Doesn't feel like there's a strong immediate goal. I'm not sure why I'm wandering around, and if it's good to focus on killing things or not. It feels like journal entries would fit the atmosphere of the game, and if not that then something similar that doesn't break the atmosphere.
