My overall thoughts and feelings
Gameplay - Gameplay wise, the controls are easy to use and are intuitive, however the combat of the game is quite difficult, even on the easiest difficulty. The only really difference I could tell was that the enemies attacked slightly slower than on higher difficulties, with the aim and movement being consistent. I also experienced quite an annoying bug, where I was pushed out of the map when it shrunk. I could understand this from a design point, due to the nature of battle royales, but when the player is not allowed to re enter the area, it feels more like a cheap loss and a real programming oversight.
Look and Sound - The music and sounds effects are quite relevant to the games style and suit the game extremely well. It helps to set a good vibe, however due to the way the sound is coded, while playing the game a lot of the sounds overlap. This can cause a quite uncomfortable setting and is extremely harsh on the ears, resulting in me muting the game to even play it
Originality - The game is not really that original due to the sheer amount of battle royale games at the moment. Most games seem to have some kind of mode similar to this, so the game does not feel all that original
Theme - In regards to following the theme of Tiny world, I wouldn't really say the game fully follows it. The only really link I can find is the fact that everything appears smaller than in other games
TL:DR - Game does not meet the theme, sounds are ok but the sheer amount of sounds played at one time can be quite hard on the ears, and the game is challenging, however the difficulty slider does not appear functional, other than a slight delay on the attacks
Thank you for the detailed feedback. There's already an update about pushing outside the walls, I made the dash pass through the walls so that players can re-enter and can dash pass through opponents, it will be more like a 'blink' than pushing itself. The update will be released after the game jam. About the overlapping sounds, I'm still thinking of a way on how can I optimize them.
Extra hard, liked the customization options (very nice) very fast paced action!
Already made the Difficulty easier by making the Bots behave more human-like. Will be updated after jam
Really enjoyable game for non gamer like me. This is really cool!
Thank you. This is the also reason I put 5 difficulties so that every player can play based on their playstyle and skills
To rate M.A five stars is really not enough. This game is 100/5 for me! Characters are so cute, controls are very friendly, and the game itself is very enjoyable. Keep on creating games! Hope to see this game run on different platforms.
Thank you for your feedback. I'll support different platforms on this game for you after the gamejam
Among us is shaking
lol, I'll try to make this on multiple platforms. And maybe a multiplayer
Nice job! Seems like a great proof of concept! I liked the implementation of the theme, and the blood effects a lot! One thing I think could improve the game is if the enemies telegraphed their attacks, like instead of just instantly attacking maybe have an animation for the enemies getting ready to attack that plays before actually attacking.
Thank you, and yes it will improve the gaming experience it will feel like you are playing with a person, not a bot.
Great game bro, I really enjoyed playing this game can't wait for improvements of this game. I wish we could collab with my own sprites. Good luck bro!
Hey! I'm looking forward to having a collab with you.
Hi! A greater variety of IA would be nice to have. It's hard to win, and I love it! ;) Please, keep improving it.
I'm planning to include more AI behaviors with random variations, gameplay, and priority. I'll just have to do more research on how to do that kind of thing before executing.
not really a gamer but this one is cool and very challenging! would recommend this especially to players who are into thrilling and exciting game like this. well done!
Thank you! I'm happy that you appreciated this game
I had fun, though this is pretty tough. I did unfortunately get the sound corruption issue, which is a known Godot issue, but I didn't take off for it. I'd recommend if you didn't export the HTML in GLES2, or if you didn't export it with threads, to also publish the individual exports. It was for some reason very slow on my Chrome so had some serious trouble seeing even what was happening.
I tried fixing the audio glitch 2 times but I failed. I'll try to optimize the game and release an update after the jam. I'll also try your recommendations about the said issue. About being slow, I also experience lag when I play with 50 players, I wish it will be fixed too after I optimize the game itself. I'm planning to continue developing this game after this jam.
Awesome! This can definitely turn into something really fun. Good work.
"Hello everyone and welcome to my guide for: TINY CHAMPIONS:
1. Let everyone kill each other off.
2. Heal as much as possible.
3. Practice the fade-away shot.
4. Execute TINY LOSERS.
5. Enjoy the spoils of the victor."
Enjoyable arena game with loads of customisation and difficulty settings, allowing the player to adapt and improve, till they overcome.
Thank you for your feedback. Your guide about the game is the same way I used for beating each difficulty, as a developer I need to make sure that the game is beatable especially if it has a wide range of options. I'm planning to continue developing this game I hope to see your feedback again for that one.
all good try it.
