GAMEPLAY
Simple but effective concept. The difficulty spiked quite quickly and could perhaps be more gradual. Adding some power-ups for a future update would also be nice. With the limited time, I understand you couldn’t include everything, but it would have been a fun addition. As someone else mentioned, a different cursor shape could be interesting, and a scoreboard or leaderboard would be a nice bonus too.
VISUALS
The self-made pixel art graphics were well done.
AUDIO
The music had a good beat, though it became repetitive over time. A bit more variety would improve the experience.
THEME
The theme was incorporated..although could maybe have been a bit more.
All in all, a fun little game and a solid jam entry.💪

nice Idea. and easy to pick up and play. wished that the difficulty would slowly ramp. I would have liked to kill 100 pumpkins in stead of 1 per round. Good job
It looks like someone else here also thought about killing pumpkins haha. Your game is simple and really fun, I liked the concept, although I wish there was a bit more of a storyline behind the safe area we need to protect
You did a great job implementing the main mechanic, it was functional and easy to understand
One tip I can give you is to use a circular radius parameter when generating enemies around that zone, so they spawn from the center and maintain the same distance from their spawn point to the safe area, regardless of direction. I felt that the enemies coming from above or below were closer to it.
It might also help to reduce their speed a bit to make the game easier, but as I said, you did a good job with your concept

Simple and fun. Would have loved to see my score at the end. Cuz now I was focus on the shooting and not on my score, and after I lost I didn't really know what my score was.
Fun and simple idea with sounds/music to boot!! I think it could have been more thematic with a cursor that indicates you are the monster? Maybe a monstrous hand? Or the environment could've given indicators of this with more art. I love that you wrote "KILL PUMPKINS WITHOUT MERCY" lol!
Nice, simple concept! The music fits the style well. However, be careful with pixel mixing, as it makes the game feel slightly off. Using a pixel font and keeping all pixels the same size would make it feel more cohesive.
Cool and simple game, I like the sound track!
the only thing I would add is the variety of enemies.
