Bro, the lighting and music were amazing, and the art is really beautiful! The controls were smooth and fun. Great job!
Thank you very much! We all put a lot of work into it :)
The atmosphere is really well done in this game.
Fun game to play. A bit difficult as well at first. But the atmosphere was especially well-developed with the lighting and sound. Power-ups were present and also strange ones..check.
Graphically it looked nice and the audio fit well with the ambiance.
Sometimes it was unclear where I was going or where I was. Some extra polish to graphics/movement/gameplay/sound would make it even better I think. Maybe in a future update.
But all in all, a nice atmospheric game to play. Nice job!๐ช
Awesome! I'm glad our design choices ended up paying off in the end. Thank you for the feedback, and for hosting the jam!
i liked the atmosphere alot but couldn't get in the game fully. i keep constantly being teleported somewhere i dont know and i have no idea what even happened the music is pretty good and again wish it was a slower pace and grounded well regarding the telporting thing i keep getting teleported to a scene with my camera stuck and i cant move? overall pretty cool idea.
Thank you for letting me know about this teleporting bug. Weird. I'll look into it. I'm glad you still liked the music and atmosphere!
Wow I loved the pacing of this! I liked how collecting the different items made me stronger (more able to avoid the ghosts), but also changed the way I avoided them. The movement was very fun, I thought it was a nice touch to make the player move faster when youre walking in the direction of the light beam - it was very spooky to try and outrun the ghosts.
Honestly such a great jam game!
I'm thrilled you enjoyed the atmosphere and the little speed mechanic. I made a lot of design choices that felt risky. It's great to know they paid off! Thank you!
Really loved the vibe of the game! it really felt mysterious with the sound effects and bgm. Good job!
Thank you very much! Yes, the sound design is one of our primary strengths - all thanks to Limain. I'm glad you enjoyed!
loved the atmosphere (well, I didn't love it because I was scared - but that means it worked!) made through the limited lighting, sounds and story behind the game!
I'm glad it worked! I don't love playing horror games either, to be honest... But now I know developing them suits me fine! Thank you.
Really nice game, I loved the musical atmosphere ! And the gameplay and power ups were unexpected, congratulations !
Thank you very much! Yes, Limain did excellent music
I really liked the ideas put into the game, with the revolver mechanic, ghosts and the power-ups! Also some more feedback when killing enemies/getting damage would be cool :) Sound-design was there but I think the art needs some polish. Overall a solid game for this jam!
Thank you for the feedback, and I'm glad you liked the game! Yeah, feedback/other polish and art would be at the top of my list if I were to keep working on this one.
Yeah! I really dug the atmosphere of this game! I made a game about hunting invisible ghosts with a revolver (here) a while ago, so I guess that's what I like!
The gameplay was good, maybe a bit difficult for a jam game. If you like the atmosphere, like I did, you'll stick to the end though.
Now the powerups. I thought most pf the devs will try to do "they affect the gameplay in a strange way", but hell, floating spoons that point to invisible enemies are just so good :D
One thing that needs polish is the presentation. Some more attention to graphics would go a long way here.
Keep up the good work guys!
Thanks! I'm relieved to hear that one or two of the powerups were strange enough.
I see revolvers are kind of a theme for you! Can't blame ya lol. Thanks again for the comment.
