I found two photographs, is that it? Otherwise it’s all pitch black, with the flashlight barely working. I did think some of the sounds of the house and stuff worked well as you say on the game page.
Nice little atmospheric game.
GAMEPLAY
The flashlight idea was intriguing, especially with reloading, but I couldn't see much with it and found limited interaction opportunities. A bit more light, like also some others hinted, like a soft glow across the entire level, would help with navigation and using the flashlight to find necessary game elements.
ART STYLE / VISUALS
The art style contributed to the game's atmosphere.
AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
The music added greatly to the atmosphere,
INNOVATION
The use of a flashlight with a reloading feature was a novel touch, although the execution could benefit from improved visibility to maximize interaction.
THEME
The music and visuals effectively captured the game's theme, creating a cohesive atmospheric experience.
Keep up the good work for the next games you create. 💪
Like others have said the flashlight doesn't shine properly and many textures, and it was unclear exactly what I was supposed to look for or do. Also batteries can be spent even before the flashlight dies, which I'm not sure is intentional and adds to the lifespan of the flashlight or not.
I think there were some missing textures or models because the flashlight didn't shine any light onto the walls or the floor as well as some other objects, which made it incredibly hard to navigate. At some point my flashlight turned off and I was unable to turn it back on again.
A beautiful idea for visual design, but the flashlight is not very clear how it works, I would like to play more, but it did not work out
It's a bit hard to really see anything with the flashlight. If you could get the light to interact wit the floor and walls as well so there was a bit more clarity, Also i would suggest adding some dim lighting, enough to walk around but not to see objects. cute little find it game tho.
