wow! fun twist on the idle genre, super charming writing and voice acting that adds a lot of personality to it. the visuals and sound could use a boost as mentioned already, but having minions craft materials keeps it interesting and being able to have the workers basically build themselves is neat. overall, it’s a simple but clever game with great progression. well done!

This was fun, very minimal visuals but your ideas were great, some neat progression concepts. And you went all out with the voice acting, kudos. The Theme was not very strong in this one but overall a good game, played it to the end.

Though it heavily lacks in visuals and sound design, it makes up for it with VERY charming writing and voice acting, along with satisfying gameplay. Having to get your minions to craft different materials is a very interesting take on idle games which I haven't experienced before.

There was a point where there was no need to buy minions anymore, since they could just craft robots over and over again to do the work instead. This could be perceived as a flaw but I like to think of it as commentary on robots replacing people's jobs.

The whole time I was playing, I was thinking "Man, it'd be so cool if this game had adaptive music." That may sound strange, but imagine when you start the game, it sounds mysterious and dark, as the scientist begins scheming. Then, as you build more and more, the music becomes industrial and menacing, with factory sounds and heavy drums. Finally the music reaches peak intensity as  you start building the final thing, with loud trumpets and even louder drums, hammers hitting steel, screwdrivers spinning... and then, once you finish building, it all suddenly ends and gets replaced with nothing but distant air raid sirens, explosions, and screaming.

Just a thought. I like musical storytelling. Anyway, this was a fun little game, which would benefit a LOT from better visuals and audio. Also, the pink background was a kinda strange choice considering the game's topic.

The music is my Achilles heel - more so because although every other member of my extended family can play an instrument (heck, my brother even got a degree in music) - I am as poor a musician as I am skilled as a programmer. I can tell you if I think a song is in a major or a minor cord, but I can't tell you why I might think so. I love how music affects me in a game or a movie, but I could not begin to pick which and where to place song in a game.

As for the pink background - as a programmer I always start with something loud and in-your-face when working with others, to make sure they see it and immediately go "aha, programmer art, I will replace that ASAP." So I did the same with my first solo project to help spur myself on to change it when I had the time... but you know how it is in a jam, I simply ran out of time. By the end I'd realized I didn't mind so much the pink background. If I wasn't going to have any other art, I was going to let the color choice be as loud as my protagonist's rants.

Thanks for giving my game a whirl.

I ran out of time to move forward. I want to scheme more. My marsupials will take over the world; they will surpass even I!

Fun clicker, I like the extra idle additions and customizability. Also your voice acting was amazing!

Your game was pretty neat, although I wish I knew what was going on better as I played. I didn’t understand what many of the buttons did until I used them, and perhaps a few times. After I got the hang of it, it was pretty enjoyable. Definitely a good idle game.

Wasn't expecting to see an idle game during this jam. Love idle games. Concept is simple, but I like it. The voice acting was amazing. Would have loved to be able to increase the workers in workshops by more than 1 at a time. Like maybe if you hold shift and then click it will increase/decrease by 10.

Oh, that's a good idea. That's going right into my post-mortem notes. Thanks!
