Very interesting concept! I feel the precision required to drag a yarn ball might be a little to tight. Consider making the collision a little bigger than the actual sprite. I think that could help with the feel of the game.
This is a strong contender after my own heart! Through the power of "Implicit Learning" you find the pattern and figure out how it works, resulting in victory.
This worked so well and I could imagine it as an app game (thumbs would be going mad). The simplicity and satisfaction of the gameplay loop was so compelling.
