Nice game, going into the well and coming back to the traders reminded me of the old Diablo days :)
I also liked how I had to learn the map and figure out which resources spawn where, although the only really important resource was the ectoplasm for the health upgrades. I didn't use the shrines too much towards the end, I didn't feel they affect the ghosts too much - they made the their attack rate slower, right?
I got to the end, although I didn't unlock the cactus from the cage, is that even possible?
Very original idea, I was hooked by the game mechanics of repelling the ghosts with my light and staying safe near my shrine! I played for 20 minutes straight but couldn’t reach the end as I lost my shrine in the ghost land, I only had the gem of the end to pick up!
The visuals and narrative are also interesting. I would say that the frustrating part is that the ghosts dash super fast at you sometimes so you’re dying a lot.
Overall, really cool that you chose to create a game around this trade mechanic. Congrats ! :)
I liked the intro. I also liked the graphics. No Performance or Bug Issues. I found the Godot Icon, not sure if that was intended. I was not really sure what to do in the game. I found a couple of items, I died multiple times but I was not able to sell or buy anything. The sound was sometimes extremly loud. I liked moving around with that extra light on the mouse. That is a cool mechanic.
