How does your submission match the theme?
The idea is using the shield as the main weapon. When defending from an attack, the attack is repelled and special bar increases. The special attack is a powerful push that throws enemies away and together can come rewards as an extra life.

I made all the code in Unity3D. All models were created by the second team member, Alvaro Augusto. The sound effects are from the royalty free Audio Game GDC bundle.

I really loved this. The game is simple and well made, and the concept is fun. The art follows the concept well, and is also simple/well made. The only bit of the core play I think you could improve is allowing the player to strafe and mouse look. It feels a little janky controlling him only with WASD. Also a second enemy type would really help explore the core concept a lot better, although this was obviously a short jam.
