Note: minor spoilers ahead

1) The players shield can be used to protect himself, or damage/push back enemies, or deflect certain projectiles, or clear certain traps/obstacles. And a little more ;)

2) Enemies provide not only an obstacle preventing escape, but also a source of the resources needed to grow stronger

NOTE: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD
Play the game first and see if you notice these first, then come back and read them...

3) Shield explosion leaves a mark that can be used to help navigate the level

4) NPC wizard provides shop for upgrades while also being the final boss

Cool! I liked the idea behind a shield that blows up once it's used! I thought that sometimes there were a lot of spots with no enemies, and then all of the sudden there was a *ton* of them! So maybe a little more ramping. Great job though! :)

Cool concept! Couple of things: Some more details if feedback, such as a flash when they hit you, a neat explotion, etc.
