It took some time to figure out but thios is actually one of the best games I played so far. The presentation is a bit off but the idea and level design is great.

Very compelling idea, I've seen a couple games that used each side of the die as a tool, but this one seems to have the most potential. With some polish I think this could be a great puzzle game!

Thanks! There are a few projects I want to work on before coming back to this, but I intend to fix the bugs and turn this into a full game in the future when I get time!

There is a lot to unpack here. I loved the idea, it is really interesting. I don't get why everything is so small and uncentered, it makes it difficult to understand what is going on. Also, there are quite a few bugs, but that's normal in a 48h jam. There could be more in-game info or a more intuitive level design to ease the player into the game. The movement controls are a bit unresponsible too, but I believe this is part of the physics being used. All that aside, I am looking forward for an update on that one.

Thanks! We spent so long trying to figure out how to get physics to work that we didn't really have time to make levels centered / add a tutorial / add any amount of polish. We gave up on fixing physics when we noticed that we barely had any time left and just added some levels.

For future jams (and for an update to this game) I'll definitely use a physics engine (probably matter.js)

i like the creative mechanics in this game :D , but i couldnt really wrap my head around it though (i didnt read the description) But, the game has a lot of physics and collision problems. I clipped out of the map here:

a lot of negative space, not exactly the most intuitive game in the world, but that being said, the creativity is off the charts~

The mechanics would be quite nice, but everything is very tiny and I managed to clip through walls

It's kind of impossible to play the game as intended right now, but using a rotating object as a very finicky swiss army knife is actually pretty entertaining when it works.

I think I saw every level but I don't think I solved them all, sometimes I glitched them unintentionally and couldn't go back in bounds.

Developer

Yeah, there are lots of physics bugs lol.

Neither of us (me or speediplayz) are used to making physics based games so we don't have experience using physics engines. We wrote al of the physics code during the jam. I like this idea though, so I might try again later and turn it into a proper game (with working physics) in the future if enough people seem interested.
