Agree with others about having to wait at the end of each level for a 1 to show up.  The story made me laugh though (in a good way). So nice to save the world! Good job on the gamejam!

The game was interesting. The story was cool. The first part was cool also.

However after the first part, I noticed the die face required to continue never changed. It was always a one. And after a little while, it got boring.

I understand that game jam games are not the easiest thing to create. In fact, in our game, there are a couple of weird noticeable bugs we didn't have time to fix. While I didn't notice any bugs in your game there also wasn't really much that looked like it would go wrong in it either.

I will start by saying that the game is fully functional. I didn't encounter any bugs so that's great. The concept that the dice just changes at random doesn't seem like a great concept because it kinda just leaves you standing at the end until it changes every time. I can see this game being really cool with some tweaks, and I want this to be constructive criticism. Maybe a concept where the dice number changes based on a different factor other than just time would be better. The level designs could obviously use some cleaning up, but I understand it was made quickly for the game jam.

Well, it's not a great game. But making a game in such a short amount of time is very difficult, and I can definitely understand you guys running out of time, especially if it was your first gamejam (I'm assuming it was, as you've got nothing else published on your accounts). Like tz_enterprises said, the theme of dice rolling should have been explored a lot more, and I'm sure with some more time you could have! But be sure to keep doing jams, you'll get faster and be able to make better and better games every time :)

sadly for me at least the dice wasnt actually rolling random numbers. It just kept incrementing.

This game does need some work. The underlying concept is there, but the fact that you have to end each level on the number one means you just have to sit near the end of the level and wait as the dice cycles to one which makes it quite boring.

The story at the start was a nice touch but the backgrounds in the level don't really reflect it. Although the story itself is fine.

With a few more mechanics, the game would be really good. So it just needs some work. I understand this game jam was quite the grind, we struggled on our game as well so the backgrounds not matching the story is just a nitpick. Overall, the idea is good but the execution needs work.

If possible could you check out my game? Any feedback would be appreciated

I wish the idea of you dice changing number was explored a bit more. As the game is now, you basically get to the end and wait for your dice to roll over.

The writing was cute :)
