The controls and collisions felt a little rough. Which is not the end of the world, however, it caused me to keep dying early in the level. I don't mind dying a lot in a game, but it took forever to restart and go through the whole fake time menu splash screen thing.

I think the looping level with harder enemies each time was a good idea, and a good idea for a limited time game jam.
But the game felt artificially hard and frustrating because of the awkward controls and the awful menu/restart system.

It could have been a fun little game it weren't for the major issue, I liked the vibe you were going for!

I must say I've seen that stupid little asset frog been used so many times in game jams so I would refrain from ever using it if I were you. The jumping didn't feel great like it should in a platformer and the menus seemed to be timer-based instead of player pressing a button so that bugged me also. I'll say the cartoon before the gameplay was slick.

I like the ramping difficulty loop, its pretty neat. Bit hard to get some froot loops some times due to the randomness of object spawns.

Thanks for playing :)

The concept is pretty nice, and the game looks great, but I feel like you ran out of time when it came to setting up all the menu stuff because that doesn't seem to work very well.

Also, I think with the speed of the character, it would have been nice if they were placed not in the center of the screen or something. Right now, I feel myself holding back a lot because I can't respond to what is coming fast enough. Which is sad because the movement itself feels great.
