Really cute, I liked the sprites and the concept! I was able to get all the golden notes but some of the puzzles didn't make sense to me. Took a second to figure out the controls as the "pointing" wasn't intuitive.
Thank you for sticking with the game all the way through! Yep it definitely needs tweaking with controls or better easing into it though. Since you got all the puzzles, which ones took you the longest? (Just curious)
I actually got stuck in the room where it teaches you about teleporting for a while. I thought it was a puzzle! Kept going back to the numbered circle trying different things.
The puzzle that took me the longest was the tree one- ended up brute forcing it and never actually figured out the solution.
Cool idea! I found two gold notes. The tree puzzle was clever, but I had no idea what to do in the dark room. One thing that made the controls confusing is that the Space bar has the same functionality as E, but pressing Space again doesn't toggle it off. I pressed Space thinking I could jump and was stuck on that screen for a while before realizing I could toggle it off with Q.
Thanks for playing! Yea the spacebar control was a remnant from me messing with controls, didn't even cross my mind it would get mixed up with the standard jumping button, good spotting.
I liked the idea behind the game! Like others have said, in the current iteration it may be too vague or obtuse for what the player should do, but that all would be refined with further development. :)

Thanks for giving it a go, its a puzzle game about playing pieces of music hidden in each room to unlock secrets. It's vagueness is partly to encourage experimentation and exploration but it definitely needs more tweaking to get the open-endedness just right.
This game was pretty cool. I like how it is inspired from animal well which is one of my favorite games. I was able to complete the first room puzzle and the fruit tree puzzle but I got stuck afterwards.
I got stuck in the dark mouse room and the room below the fruit tree in an area. I thought I would be able to jump but It didn't seem like there was a control for it. I assume maybe theres a way to teleport around if you know the code like in animal well but I couldn't figure it out.
Anyways up until the point I got stuck it was really good and the puzzles were cool. I like the addition of the second instrument type so that you have red and blue sounds.
Appreciate the feedback, the progression of the puzzles definitely needed a bit more testing to gradually ease the player in. Curious to see if anyone solves the mouse puzzle. Thanks for playing!
