Very nice game! Is there a way to reset a level if you softlock yourself? I didn't see anything about this in the description.

Developer

Thank you for playing!

You can press 'Esc,' and there will be a 'Restart' button. I will add that to the description as well. Thank you for the reminder!

Thank you SO much! I did my best with the time that I had :D

And... is that a Temmie in your profile picture? If so, that makes this comment even better!

I’m truly impressed by your pixel art game! The fact that you created such a fun and engaging experience is incredible. The mechanics of resizing boxes to reach the door are not only clever but also add a great layer of challenge and strategy. The pixel art style is charming and perfectly complements the gameplay. Fantastic work!

Developer

Oh, if I had known I would receive such a kind and thoughtful comment, I would have enjoyed the process of making this game even more!

Thank you so much for playing and for everything you said <3

Very cute game. The artstyle with those Celeste influences is so pretty. And the concept of it is very nice. Sadly I broke the game by making a box grow between two others, which led to said box clipping throug the map, and soft locked myself that way. But this is a game jam game, we can't expect absolute polish! I think you have the premise for a very cute full fledged puzzle game here! Great work!

Thanks so much for playing and leaving a comment!

I tried to create a cute art style, even though I've never done it before. It turned out pretty great—but like with the programming and some bugs, we didn't have much time to fully flesh out and polish all of the ideas. One of the last things we added was the 'Restart' level button, since we encountered some minor issues as well >:

Anyway, I'm glad you liked it :D

This is super polished and cute - I loved the music! My only feedback would be to make the door stick out more against the background (it blends in too well), and have more "friction" on moving the boxes - it makes them hard to control when they slide so much.

But a very nice game!

Developer

Thank you for playing!

And yes! You're absolutely correct on both points! We tried to fix those issues, but we ran out of time ):

I hope that in the future, we can address those issues and polish everything up—including the narrative part of the game that we had to cut out. :D

Such a cute, kind and beautiful idea ♥ I loved to play! Congratulations for the amazing game and idea, so nicely executed for the little amount of time that you had. I will absolutely be waiting for more levels (and would love to see the little doll learning more about growing up).

Developer

Yeah! There was so much we would have liked to do—but so little time T.T
Thank you so much for the kind words! <3

Quite convenient and intuitive controls. I also liked the level design and not too difficult gameplay.

Developer

Really glad you appreciated it! We didn't have quite enough time to fully flesh out the levels, but we're very proud of what we did make :D

The like the idea, and the well-executed puzzle gameplay. The art looks very nice!

Thank you! I really put the effort into making the art — and so did everyone else with everything else! <3
