How does your game fit the theme?
Our game, Fill the Rabbit Hole, perfectly fits the theme "Built to Scale" by intertwining the concept of scaling and construction within its core mechanics and narrative. Core Mechanics: Scaling Through Construction: The game revolves around building a path for Alice to escape the rabbit hole. The White Rabbit uses randomly generated Tetris-like blocks to create a scalable path that Alice can climb. The blocks scale up to form a navigable route, directly tying into the theme as players "build to scale" in real time. Size Dynamics: As Alice shrinks over time due to the effects of the potion, the urgency of scaling becomes more intense. The challenge is not only to build but to do so efficiently and quickly enough to keep pace with Alice's diminishing size, reinforcing the idea of scaling both in gameplay and difficulty. Narrative Integration: A Story of Escape and Growth: The narrative of Alice trying to escape the rabbit hole by climbing up a path that is constantly being constructed mirrors the "build to scale" theme. The blocks that grow and form her escape route symbolize the player's efforts to construct a way out, reflecting the theme both metaphorically and literally. Visual and Gameplay Elements: Scaling Environments: Each level theme (Underwater Starry Sky, Fruits, Desserts, and Flora & Sunshine) visually represents different scales and environments, emphasizing how the player must adapt their building strategy to match the environment’s unique challenges. In WonderiScale, "Built to Scale" is not just a thematic element; it’s the foundation of both gameplay and storytelling. Players are constantly engaged in building and scaling up a pathway for Alice, making the theme an integral part of the entire gaming experience.

Love the presentation! Moving Alice is a bit slow and the mechanics are hard to get used to, but I can tell the artists had a lot of fun designing the menus and cutscenes so great job with that!

Hi guys, gorgeous art for the game.

I think the font could use a different colour for visibility reasons.

I think the concept is super cool haha. Althought the mechanics do feel a little frustrating to use.

Had fun checking it out. :)
