I was able to understand how it worked, but the game is not very fun as the guards kind of lack proper vision. Immediately got a game over.

Very interesting; I do wish there were more elements to how the guards behave (line of sight or something like that?) that would add a bit more strategy to the game. I couldn't get past level 2 (reading below it seems like there's a bug). However great start, I had a good time!

Interesting concept, but theres a game breaking bug on the 2. level, as you can't place any guards. :(

Otherwise it seems like a fun idea, better luck playtesting next time :)

my level 2 was also bugged and couldn't place anything, and it seems like the guards... shoot the thieves from a far distance? they also seem to like to get closer to walls for some reason. also, this seems to be like a tower defense game but the towers can move, not too original

I really enjoyed the game - I'm already a fan of tower defense-like games. It's nice to see how the thieves always take the fastest path to their gold (I assume you used a specific algorithm for that). However, the AI of the guards is still quite basic - you probably didn't have enough time to improve it. As a result, I felt that I could only solve Level 1 in a certain way.

Unfortunately, I couldn't progress beyond Level 2 because I couldn't place any more guards (I think it's a bug?). If the game had more diverse guard types with interesting AI, I can imagine playing it for a good while and having fun. :)

I had a lot of fun with this, but I'm a sucker for Tower Defense games of any kind. I like the idea, however it doesn't exactly feel like you turned an idea on top of it's head you know? Beyond that it could use with some SFX of some kind, and maybe some sprite reworks but I do like the idea.

Game would have potential, but the characters’ pathfinding seems to be broken and they all go to the right and go through walls. Also I don’t understand wtf is happening lol
