that’s true, but the intended answer is more idiomatic and natural in english than your alternate solution. good point though

solved the puzzle, that was fun! i technically solved the bonus question, but only because i looked up a list of four letter words and, no joke, went through each of the words in alphabetical order until i got it right, which was at 533 words. it makes sense in hindsight but i wouldn’t have gotten it myself since i didn’t know the reference already
interesting and addictive game, although the game malfunctioned for the second part and froze on level 8. for the first part, i think the difficulty is about right, but for the second part, i think moving back seven loops is too harsh on the player. also, i wish there were another key for invert, since by instinct i use space to jump. additionally i overlooked the “shield” part for a while since my eyes were fixed on the center of the screen; maybe a clear outline to the player to show that the shield is active? but overall a polished and fun game.
lol this was a fun one! figuring these out was hard but i eventually figured it out. i also didn’t figure out B until after solving the last puzzle. i had suspected the first puzzle’s gimmick but i did not expect where this would turn.
hint for people who still need to figure it out:
all the answers can be written as 1 character, if you go beyond your keyboard and into asciiat the beginning i didn’t know about the bonus challenge so i was about to say it was a bit easy, but the bonus challenge was tricky to solve. enjoyed it, and i didn’t really know about what the tree functions were before because the explanations on wikipedia had too much mathematical jargon. this is a good way to explain them
