I love this game, It’s so peaceful and pretty! thank you for making it ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ ♡ I can’t express how much I am in love with the concept of fishing for stars! There is a lot of potential here, you could expand upon the gameplay by creating different levels and making it a little bit more puzzle based with the opportunity to get scores by combo-collecting multiple stars at once.

I think the player feedback would be improved by having the stars automatically collect once they are circled rather than having to wait for the player to let go of the line as it resets and maybe having some SFX and particles react when stars are collected.

Very simple gameplay but beautifully designed ♡

It's a cute little game! It's relaxing and nice to play. visually it has a lot of charm! i also love the discontinuous trail effect that the hook leaves behind. I would love to know how you have programmed the detection of the area where you enclose the stars because it is very good. Also the music is perfect for the ambiance. Maybe some kind of counting (maybe I missed it?) or some kind of increasing mechanics (maybe more types of stars that have to be caught in different ways) would be nice. Great job and great submission for the jam! Congratulations!

Hey this actually helped me calm abit :D

i like how you got out of your way to add a button for pause which says theres not need to pause lol

the only thing is that its not clear waht exactly counts as being encircled cause some nearby stars outside a loop disappear as well, or stars which were in a circle which wasnt fully enclosed

But this aside, its a neat little experience ))

the containment check is a bit buggy, so sometimes it would just do that :(

glad you had a fun experience tho :3
