I nearly softlocked myself because you start with so little money! I love Space Invaders and it was a good game!
Would be fun to practice in a sort of sandbox mode where you can control the spawning of the enemies, and have infinite buckaroonies, to grasp how to play the game since it's a little challenging. Looks great, plays great!

The sound really works well, its a really good idea but the balance is a bit off, sometimes I cruise through other times I just get stuck not collecting any resources... still cool game... good luck with the jam :)
It's amazing that this was made in only 48 hours! The sprites look amazing, and fit perfectly. Plus, the sound design felt just like that old arcade game.
The only negative thing I can think of is the relatively slower gameplay. Making money while fighting off enemies is pretty slow. This means you can't build a lot of ships, which also means there can't be as many enemies. This just leads to slow fighting. This doesn't ruin the experience at all. It's just a minor tweak, but I prefer faster games anyways.
Overall, this game was incredible! The first game I've played of the submissions, and its a great one. 👍
THIS GAME IS LITERRALLY TERRIble, best game ive played since fnaf 4. Return infinite laser and ill rate it 6 stars.

Cool game with a lot of variety. I found a bug to cheese the game and last forever, but otherwise this game is really tough. It feels like the defender bullets are piercing through every alien, so my entire army gets wiped out very quickly.
Lol I had to patch like three similar bugs an hour before submissions closed. What'dya find?
Ahh I know how that feels, bugs just keep popping up towards the end. The short-lived cannon that costs 200 can be fired even if you're completely broke.
