Enjoyed it, controls took a while to get used to, but once I did it was pretty fun. To be honest I didn't get very far, but I still had a good time. Felt like there should've been a restart button, maybe there was but i didn't see it. I also liked the art quite a bit. If you have time would you leaving a rating on our game? We'd really appreciate it, thanks.

Fun concept for a game! I always enjoy games with grapple mechanics and physics to play with. I definitely found it to be really challenging, but maybe with some practice I would be able to beat it.

Had fun playing, great work!

Developer

Thank you so much, I had fun making it. The idea was for it to feel like trying to speed-run a game. I just wish I had the foresight to make the dialog skippable.

Our game had a hard time balancing difficulty so I don't mind that this is basically impossible.

The swinging is fun, I would maybe recommend a slight highlight of grabbable objects and/or making non-grabbable objects a little more transparent. This would help the level feel a little easier to navigate.

Also, the game cuts off parts of the screen in fullscreen, which can be confusing.

Fun game though, nice job!

Very fun idea and the movement was smooth, the pacing of the text and the extreme timer was a bit off to me but that was my personal preference. The game was really fun all in all and the concept was funny too.

Very challenging timer! But I am heartbroken by the narration and story behind this :') Very fun mechanics though!

Feels very tight on the time limit, but the movement is fun and silly and I could feel myself getting better at swinging around. Not sure if I was missing something but I wasn't able to pick up any of the required items. I also thought the outlines for the items you can collide with was a nice touch but would have liked some sort of other color for the required items since I then have to find and reach them with very little time.

Developer

Thank you! As I developed the game I found the time to be too lenient, I guess this is because I kept testing the game as I developed it and got used to the swinging very quickly. To add to the difficulty I made it so you need to pick them up in the order they are mentioned. In hindsight I believe I should have kept the time as is, but allowed you to pick the items up in whatever order you want.

Really like the game, the movement is very fun! A little more leeway for the timer would have been welcome though 😅 It's very difficult, and it can feel a bit discouraging when the text boxes can not be skipped. That said the game is very well made! The white outlines to differentiate between foreground and background is a smart way to make the level readable but also detailed. Great job!

Developer

Thank you so much, I had to keep going back to the graphics designing to add the white outlines. Ideally there would have been a glow around the objective items to distinguish them as well and the skipping was something I wanted to implement, but unfortunately my time was cut short due to other responsibilities. I have also come to realize that I became very used to the movement as I developed the game and constantly adjusted the timer for that. Two minutes felt too long and one minute was too short. In hindsight I should have asked a few friends to playtest without the timer to calibrate it

good idea but the game could've been better
