How does your game fit the theme?
I took the theme for "roll" instead of "role", it is a maybe popular dice game re-created with a twist.

This is quite an interesting take because it's not the first thing I would've thought of. The game being text-based is also quite unique too! But because of this I do find it boring at times (maybe I'm too used to having graphics :P so it's really a personal preference)

Yeah, I wasn’t sure if it would be unique or not using those graphics.
I like your concept, and the minimal art style is very unique. great job!

Will do!
Thanks!
Really interesting game. I like the reversed mechanic, it can give you a jumpscare before making it better lol.
Interesting, it is very interesting to see everyone’s opinions on things. Thanks! :)
If perhaps I made more games like that would you enjoy it?
Never seen a game with only text in a jam before and it was executed well considering the limitations! One strange thing was I managed to roll and get to exactly 100, but the game kept going and I ended up losing. Also, the randomness of the dice reversing doesn't impact the gameplay very much since it's still random (With or without the reversal, it's the same game). Maybe you could first stop and choose to roll again before it states if the dice you just rolled were reversed so that you know the risks of landing a 6?
Thank you for posting a comment! I am glad you seemed interested with it! After the Jam I might consider fixing strange bugs that appear randomly and making it a smoother game. And also thank you for the opinion of the mechanic I used to try and match the theme, I agree mostly and glad you I got a second opinion! :)
