Nice take on the theme, even the play screen is reversed, nice touch! The interface looks cool, love the retro style! Well done! :D
Thank you so much... We almost felt that nobody had taken that detail into account.
Actually really cool game idea and execution. The gameplay is pretty fun although there is a bug that the RAM limit stops working and you can spawn infinite of whatever alien you want. Great submission!
Thank you, WaffleIII! Jams will be jams; time is limited, and not every bug can be crushed, nor every feature be implemented.
I cannot agree more, I'm sure my game is also riddled with bugs. Your game was splendid!
Thanks for your kind words. But good enough is a better descriptor.
Nice theme catch! I like the art and sound style. I don't know if I got it right that I need to destroy the player's ship asap. It is short, but I like the idea. The memory usage limit also is great thing. Good job!
Thank you, Nik. Yes, the idea is to finish as soon as possible; however, we needed more time to balance it and improve the player's IA, so it's too easy to win in the current version.
Very well executed version of a common idea for this jam. I love the retro aesthetic, but the gameplay itself might benefit from a cleaner UI. The gameplay is interesting, but somewhat slow, so a speed-up button could be a good feature.
Thank you, emeryllium; we needed more time to balance the game to ensure it would be as much fun as possible.
Even so, one of our fears with the design was it became sluggish, so your speed-up buttons sound like a fine addition.
