Yah I wish i could move more to pursue but overall good concept and follow-through in the jam..good going!
Good concept. IMO, If your intention is to be like a guard you could make the revealed area a cone instead of a circle and have the goal to actively move instead of being static. That would create more dynamics for your game and feel less repetitive. Also you could have the game be sound based as you can't see.
Tried you game! The first think that comes to my mid is to make some action levels in addition to the "find-the-path" ones. Maybe in those levels you can follow the foorptins of the thief, who continue to move. Wold like to try the game with these features!
It looks good, but it felt like once I played a few levels I had played all the levels.
Hi, the light zone should probably be significantly larger. This way, you often collect the 'objective' before your eyes even have a chance to recognize it.
