How does your game fit the theme?
You need to join together with your flock to survive and beat the game. Your flock acts as your defense and offense; as long as you have a flock you won't die and you can use your flockmates as weapons to attack enemies. Using your flock as a weapon, however, will decrease the size of your flock.

The movements are very smooth! The aesthetic is also very nice and it's a easy to understand. It has a great concept matching the game jam with a great plot.

The game was well designed in terms of strategy, especially in the higher levels. The decisions that the player can make were very well-thought out and the visual were a nice addition. Very enjoyable!

Simple and nice game for relax, well chosen music, but it overlapping with copy of it after playing much time. Blocks move chaotic and stops for a bit, hitting each other, would be better if they move more smoothly. Also the edges of the walls are hard to see, a different color can make it clearer

Thanks for the feedback. The noisiness of the AI movement is definitely something worth revisiting. I also hate the colors used in my game and how difficult everything is to see, definitely something that should be fixed in a future update.

I enjoyed, nice atmosphere. The core challenge I see for this game is that there is no driver to make the player engage with the core mechanic (that the flock is multipurpose). Because the goal is just collecting a given flock size, I found it faster to never shoot, and just dodge the incoming attacks. Is one of those 'players optimizing all the fun out of your game' traps. Worth giving some thought if you make an updated version post-jam.

All in all though,  I had fun, nicely done.

Thanks! This was one of the main challenges I saw while playtesting. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to improve this, but in a future iteration this is definitely something I need to work on. Appreciate the feedback!

Loved the mechanic of collecting a flock to fight badies.  Visuals were quite clean.

It was quite hard to collect the flock up though.  Maybe if you were faster or if the flock helped you collect a larger flock or something.

Thanks for the feedback! The speed of the player relative to the AI was one of the hardest parts to tune and still needs some work. I'll keep playing around with it. I like the idea of the flock helping you to collect a larger flock.

Cool game. Simple clean visuals. Linking attack to your flock is brilliant.

Crits: Knowing which “sheep” you’re going to fire would be great, I found myself firing completely misaligned sheep when attacking.

Suggestions: Different sheep would be cool, like a bomber that does area damage, a “persuadotron” sheep that increases the range of your influence, speed sheep, increases your speed but is trickier to catch, etc.

Those are all great ideas! I agree, my attack mechanic is pretty rough right now with no clear indication of which flock members will attack and where they will go. Definitely a lot to work on.

Good game, I like the graphics however the Game is far too easy and a way to controll the Volume of the music is detremental as it annoyed me after about 5 min. Other than that good game and concept :)

Great concept, decent execution. Main issue is that the game is very easy, the enemies don't pose much of a threat, bullets look too much like red flock members, and the objective of growing your flock to a certain size in each level gets boring.

Appreciate the feedback. I agree that in later levels the objective of the game should be switched to something else, like killing all of the enemies, instead of repeatedly just growing your flock.

I really like the style, reminds me a little of my game but done better lol. I love level 7 with all the crowded Flock and enemies! One small thing, there is no QUIT button may be that what you want us to do for ever, play Flock ;-)

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the last level, I made it last minute and I just wanted to provide the player with an open area and a lot of boids to play with. I really wish I remembered the Quit button :(

No worry about the quit button, stuff happens fast in 48 hrs! But don't worry, the concept is strong, I love the game !
