I like the idea, and the visuals are really good! The game is fun to play, but I never really found that I needed to drop the turret in order to do anything, especially since enough health is provided that I could just keep getting it.

The game looks nice. I like the chromatic aberration and stuff, and the music fits that. I'm not sure how it qualifies as a roguelike. The idea of dropping your gun to move faster could be interesting, but the game never really requires you to do that. I suppose you put the pick-ups in for something you need to run to, so you can drop the gun and get to them quicker, but I felt like that wasn't enough, nor was it worth doing.
