Look, I really like the concept here, but I don't think you explored it enough. Imagine if the levels were initially impossible but the player could break it all in pieces and rearrange the in a different way that makes it possible, that would be awesome. But the way it is now, you are just placing the pieces back together the way they were. Also, after rebuilding the level, why make the player restart every time you hit a wall? With fast controls like that, something that should be a simple task becomes really frustrating.
I agree with you 100%. I hesitated to add more to it because I was afraid of time constraints and I didn't know how to go about adding more features due to my lack of experience. Thanks for the feedback! I'll work on the game after to add some of the features people in the comments have mentioned.
Really cozy entry! It makes perfect sense with the theme and was a nice relaxing play.
I would love to see some way to to tie the two modes of play together at the same time. Like building a puzzle from a few parts while trying to cross the stage. That may make it less calming though hahah
Good job on the jam!
Pretty neat game! Thought the main menu was pretty clever and I like the concept of jigsawing the stages. I wish you only needed to finished the required path pieces to be able to traverse the map though opposed to how it is currently that you need to finish the whole jigsaw.
