If you are playing alone controls are kinda hard, if we ignore that the game is perfect.

There are so many mechanics, possibilities so the game feels like it was made for release and not just for the jam. The environment is super immersive and soundtrack is lovely.

Oh my god, thank you so much! Em's Roots is absolutely gorgeous and I'm so flattered that you think Ice Clambers looks and feels good. Narcolembia our man with the synth is definitely rolling in the (well deserved) praise this week :)

We really had a lot of fun with the mechanical possibilities, and I'm really itching to go back and explore it more. A few small tweaks to the endless spawns could have made swinging and vaulting a lot more useful. alas! Maybe for post-jam

Thanks so much again!

high score bAYBEEEEEEEEE

The controls are pretty clunky, but maybe that's because I was playing by myself and not with a friend. Very unique concept!

Developer

Thank you! We were definitely torn for a bit between making the game explicitly something for two players, or trying to streamline the controls a little more, and the end result could have been a little smoother either way. Glad you liked it!

I got 13200. Try to beat my score.

Controls start to feel intuitive after a little while.

Heyooo! nice score!

Awesome that  you found yourself getting in the groove of the controls! It's something we had a lot of fun with too, although we probably could have done a better job easing players into the coordination puzzle than we did

Thanks for the comment!

i really loved this game!! the controls are definitely interesting, and it challenges your hand coordination really well (which i had trouble with, but that's part of the challenge i think). Great job!

Developer

Thank you so much! We're so glad you liked it!

I joked a lot while making it that endless mode was really just an endurance test of how long you could go before hitting the wrong grab button haha - although we probably could have done a better job easing players into that coordination puzzle

Thanks again!

the controls are WEIRD and NOT FUN to use. heres some feedback. the game freaks out when you lose in the endless game mode. some stages are unbeatable in the endless mode. the climbing walls should not be scaled (you can use TextureRect with some settings to make it repeatable). otherwise a great game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for the honest comment! We definitely scraped this over the finish line at the very last moment, and a lot of things fell by the wayside. Those scaled textures haunt my dreams...

Thanks for the feedback on the controls. It's definitely something we should have reached out to get *input* on earlier. Our original intent was actually to have it be a controller game, but that action item got lost at some point under a deluge of bugs haha

The controls were really unintuitive, WASD and shift was uncomfortable to use, IJKL and : was very strange. I think the second character would have been better as arrow keys. The music was really nice and I like the idea of this game a lot, it's just a shame that it was so difficult to control

Thank you so much for the comment! I totally feel that, controls are definitely something we should have tried to get more feedback about early on. They were intuitive to us but, of course, we'd been developing with them for hours. Glad you liked the music! Our music man is over the moon with the reception so far

Cheers!
