It seems like a good idea. I read that due to the time, it doesn't work so well.. I'll see it again after the jam!
Thanks! Ya, spent too much time on certain pieces. Our first jam so didnt scope as well as we should have lol
Interesting concept, the mechanic definitely has potential. Although joining the blobs together again could be interesting in some way, I think having to balance the number of times you separate vs your health is what can probably lead to more interesting scenarios.
The UI was a bit confusing, wasn't sure if there was supposed to be a way of moving the original blob after separating or what, but this kind of stuff can be addressed once the pressure of the 48 hours is off :)
Thanks! Joining back together would be cool. For the UI, its in there and like 99% but we ran out of time when we hit a bug. Will work on it a bit and update
I'm so confused hahaha. The blob physics is very different. In the second level my body was separated in half by the bar but I could complete when I created my child hahaha
ya, first time trying something like that. we have a lot in the game but couldnt finish in time. Thanks for trying!
It took a while to understand the controls, but once I did I enjoyed the dual mechanics of mitosing and shooting.
Would also be good to be able to signal which blob is being controlled after switching. For future development it might be interesting to explore recombining blobs as well.
Overall it was fun!
Thanks!
Sorry but I just did not understand what I was supposed to do, I couldn’t get past the first screen :(
Ya, we tried to get the emojis in to show the buttons. The exits are the doors, press e to go through them to the next level. Blocks sticking up are pedal stools with buttons. Press e on them to move things. We ran out of time playing with physics lol. Thanks for playing!
Ah ok, txs, i completed the game now that I know you have to press e to go through the doors, time to give it a rating
