This is a nice concept. This is a pretty common take on the theme in this jam, but I really like how on hard mode you need to look for individual keys changing control. It's also reaaally nice that there is a counter so you can see when the controls will switch --- it is very frustrating when this just randomly happens to you!

The game itself is really tough, but it was fun to play. I had some weird visual artifacts where my screen was stretched (maybe the resolution is too large? I'm not sure). But this didn't affect gameplay at all so far as I could tell.

Overall this is a well put together and well thought out game, good job!

Pretty fun game. The slicing idea is really nice, it's cool that you can slice through multiple enemies in one dash and there's a nice cutting effect. While changing controls seems pretty common across this jam, it's nice that (on hard difficulty) each key has individual counter on it.

The difficulty curve is might be a little on the steep side (at least for me as I'm not too good at bullet hell type things), though. It's hard to survive on easy difficulty, and that's even before the controls change. Maybe adjusting spawn rates based on time playing would help it, or increasing player health (probably depending on selected difficulty).

Btw, not a lot of jam games have difficulty settings at all, nice touch.
