Is this Conway's Game of Life as a platformer? I love the idea, I couldn't figure out how to arrange blocks as to make them "alive" in the end though. I was trying to copy the pattern that occasionally spawns in the background to try and create something a bit like a 'glider' but wasn't able to in the end. I'm interested though if this sort of thing is possible in the game?

It was originally meant to be Conway's Game of Life as a platformer, but some difficulty and a lack of time left us with an unfinished implementation of it. For now green blocks are only created and no blocks are ever deleted.

I like a lot about this game. Everytying visual about is great! I love the attention to detail in sound design and sprites,  i see the potential!

I just felt like this game would've beniefeted from some kind of objective or a goal. Maybe I misunderstood something, but i think for a game jam game this could use even a simple "goal block".

Either way, it was fun to jump around and mess about with oddly unpredictable blocks.

Nice work.
