Taking multi-track drifting to the next level !?
I really like the approach you took for not resetting the car orientation. It made the game really wacky.
However, as many already mentioned. The game is quite buggy. The collision hit box seem off a lot of time. And since the car orientation never get reset, I ran into a bug where I couldn't re-spawn because I keep dying :(
Overall, it's still a fun game nonetheless
Great job!
The controls feel a bit weird? I found that sometimes I would let go of a button and the game would adjust the movement a little bit. The drunk camera is also a bit confusing/offputting, but overall I think that pairs well with the music to get across the idea of being hilariously out of control. I also thought it was really fun to time your movement with the turning of the road. It felt a lot like drifting, which I assume was the intention? Well done on getting this made in 48 hours, and good luck on future projects.
Yeah, I realized far too late that I should've implemented the camera much differently, unfortunately. I was planning on adding some tire skids to make the drifting aspect more apparent, but I'm glad it sorta came through regardless! Thanks for taking a look!
Pretty fun and looks great, but feels a bit buggy
Yeah, there's at least a couple bugs that I've had people find during post-jam playtesting. Sadly, I didn't get the opportunity to get much playtesting in during the jam, so I'm not entirely surprised that there's bugs, heh.
Really fun game! I really like the drifting it works really well for the game and also gives it more uniqueness.
good job
