How does your game fit the theme?
When I heard take something the player has control of and take it away I decided I would make a plat former but you don't get to choose when you jump.

Nice job! Boy that robot can move fast! I think it would be a good idea to let the player jump normally in addition to the out-of-control jump once in awhile.
That is a good Idea maybe I will add it.
Idea is decent, but playing it slowly is irritatingly slow and holding down the right button catapults you way too far. Definitely needs some varying up and more solid physics. Still a cool idea
first yeah I realize the normal way of playing it is annoying. second, the long jump is actually a bug, but I personally like it. but thanks for the feedback.
While also one of my first ideas for this theme, to take away the ability to jump in a plattformer, I think your execution is solid, even though it's a bit on the easy site in my opinion. Mostly due to the execellent air control.
After my first successful run I noticed something, which I am sure is not intented, but which made the game quite a bit more fun, is that you can store your horizontal movement while jumping and running into obstacles. This allowed me to catapult my robot through half the level. My best try was to beat the level in only 4 jumps. (So even if not intented, i had a blast trying it :P)
I noticed that too but when I took it away the game became annoying and frustrating so I put it back.
