Woah, quite frenetic! Really like the music. Even if there is not clear rhythm pattern, the actions feels really linked to the soundtrack. It feels really great. The design is simple, but provides great game sensation (reminds me a bit of Bit Trip Core). Congrats!

Im not the biggest fan of the fact time only shows when you press a button and that it isn't rounded, but it's an interesting design choice... A menu would definitely help. It's an interesting idea, but it definitely needs some polishing...

The game is fun for a little bit but you can just spam buttons and win. Plus, eventually I just ran out of squares. But that little bit of fun I had was the most fun I'd had out of any of these games so far. Too bad it was only for like 5 seconds.

Thanks for playing! Cultivating tension is something I have been experimenting with for some time.

If you're interested in pursuing that feeling further, here is a link to a game I've worked on that evokes something similar and without bound. Unfortunately it is only on Windows at this link, but I will be uploading this project to itch for other platforms soon. https://globalgamejam.org/2017/games/monkey-way
