interesting concept but its kind of hard. Would like upgrades and some music effect when interact with plants. swaping place or when it is fully watered. Maybe some icon abowe plant if they need water or sun.
Kinda surprised there was no mechanic where if you left the plant in either the sun or the water for too long they would also start taking damage. Maybe there could've been different types of plants that gain or lose their stats at entirely different rates. Currently it is a one and done deal without much to offer beyond the first play.
A fun little game. Everything works together nicely.
Its simple and fun! I like it!
This is a simple but neat game. But I am unsure of what the secondary mechanic is. Drag and drop itself is a single mechanic. But great game!
Cool concept. I agree with the other comment about swapping 2 plants. That would be a great addition for quality of life. I think there are many cool directions you can take this idea. For example, just having the rain come and go in different areas of the room would add a great challenge to the game. Nice work, hope you keep at it.
Thank you! Will definitely try to iterate on the idea a bit more and thank you for the feedback :D
Lovely art, I love a plant-themed game. A few things I think will make the game feel more intuitive: letting players swap plants' positions without needing to move them to another position first. The detection of plant moving seems to rely on the mouse position, so sometimes, even though the plant sprite is in the placement area, it won't move because the mouse is outside of the area. I think it would feel better if the detection aligned with the plant sprite. Still, very good job!
Thank you for playing! I agree with the quality of life fixes, it's something that I'd like to try implementing in the future, thanks for the feedback :D
