That was a lot of fun! I see that most couldn't make it past the fish steak, but I was stubborn and tried like 20 times and got all the way to the whole cow. It's a really good puzzle game, and I think with a few QL changes it can become even better.

First, I want to agree with the other comments. there were plenty of times where I knew that I didn't get it right, yet I had to finish all my cuts and then eat all the other pieces.  That reset button would be nice.

Even more important, I think it would be good to have a hard defined metric for the player to know what is good and what is bad. We're just eyeballing it, and there were definitely times where I went, "That wasn't small enough?" This is a tough one, but some kind of indicator would help.

Lastly, something that rewarded the player for completing a level would be nice. Something as simple as a check mark next to the meat I just cut on the menu would give me a huge sense of accomplishment.

I agree some kind of Indicator would be nice and I thought about it for awhile and just came to the conclusion that I didn't have time to figure it out.

Glad you had fun! It's exciting to see people enjoy what you create even if its my second not so perfect project.

This could be a nice childs game, but its a bit to difficult.

Master Builder said all the things I was planning to say, though I did get past the fish steak 😎 great job!

Nice work, engaging game but wow the difficulty is brutal, you need to be perfectly accurate with your cuts, if it's off by even one degree you are done for. Couldn't get past the fish steak. I definitely think the difficulty could be balanced a little better.

It's also possible to get soft locked if you make cuts that produce too tiny pieces which can't be clicked on. I think an option to restart whenever you want would be good, as well better feedback as you're cutting, it's very hard to tell if the pieces you cut are small enough.

By the way, I experienced some visual glitches in the beef cake level. It wasn't game-breaking but definitely a little distracting.

But overall compelling, this is a challenging puzzle game.

Hey thanks for the feed back. It's interesting to see how difficult everyone thought it was. I guess I was pretty blind to it.

I think the reset button is a nice idea and I've thought about it but the the narrative is that your a very big man with a bigger appetite and even bigger arms. So if you don't cut them small enough in the cuts that you have the strength for you swallow it and die. That being said from a gameplay stand point it makes complete sense to drop that for quality of life. As for the little bits soft locking you another solution could be to just have the game clear then for you. Like if their area is smaller than x it just clears it.

As for the visual glitches 🤷. They happen and I have no idea why or how. With it just being a jam game, and my second project, and life stuff I didn't really have the time or bother to fix that.

Thanks again and I'm glad you found it interesting!
