This must have been so hard to pull together inside the month. Really great job, love the planning phase in 2D followed by the 3D simulation. Showing the paths the burglars would walk during the planning would have been nice as they kept getting stuck trying to enter through a window instead of a door. Great concept overall!

Wow, this is so cool! What a neat concept! It's like writing asynchronous software haha. It's so cool to me that you can move the timeline and see how the burglars move as you drag it.

I like how the menus kept with the narrative ("How much to spend on scouting, boss?", "Cost to bribe the police").

The 3D visuals were quite neat. I like how you start with the map view for planning, then see a 3D "simulation".

The way the button drops after the level is a nice little touch.

Suggestions:

  • It seems like there's a bug in the first level, where Escape from the bathroom on the right doesn't work? I played the level multiple times and the burglar never followed the Escape procedure from that room.
  • It's unclear to me what are the benefits of different amounts of spending on scouting? For instance, what's the difference between spending 30 vs 31?
  • One small, simple thing I think would be to make each burglar's portrait color match their dot color

Awesome work, hope you develop this idea further.
