amazing man
made sure to give a rating!
can you check out my game to?
Sorry I was too late. I was busy making a game... But I would have given it a great rating.
So I managed to get past the first chase scene, but quickly got very confused. After randomly being jumpscared a few times, I gave up. My apologies.
The sprite of the guy is quite creepy. Good job!
The sound is too loud. The audio was constantly peaking.
I found a very funny visual glitch that happens if you shrink the browser very tight. It reduced the scariness by a good deal.
Fun fact: while I was taking this screenshot, the glitch noise finally loaded in and played the entire two minutes. It was... unpleasant.
All-in-all, it's very rough. Good effort, but needs improvement.
Now, I did play using the github link, but first, I tried downloading the 500 MB zip file, only to find that it's an HMTL folder that I can't run. However, it also gave me access to all of the assets.
Why there five different 58-64 MB models of seemingly identical desks? Why does Floor.glb have 300,000 triangles? It seems like thew reason the game is so large is because of a classic blunder: large amounts of unoptimized 3D assets.
This is a very, very easy mistake to make as a newer developer, especially with 3D games. I'd advise looking into learning how to optimize 3D assets.
Thank you, but I won't be updating it in the future. I'm soon going to get the size limit on this game removed, so you can play on browser, but I'm going to leave it as it is as it was just a side project.
you should add web version :)
could you also check out my game https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-game-jam-4/rate/2216257 feedback is greatly appreciated
It's really good, but the gravity is a little too strong, so it can be a little inconfortable when you have to make a big jump.
Concept sounds cool, let me know if there is a way to play in browser!
And if you get a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would appreciate any feedback, thanks!
Alas, you uploaded the web build file as downloadable instead of play in browser.
So I cannot play it...
You can change the settings by editing the game and checking This file will be played in the browser option under your .zip file.
Good game, well done :)
Of course!
I'd like to mention that I believe download links might not be allowed for the game jam. Typically, games should be playable directly in the browser (at least, that's how it was in the previous jam as far as I know). Just a heads-up for the next time—make sure to provide a browser version. Nonetheless, great job on your current effort!
Thanks!
So, not sure how to open the locked door....? (Sorry got stuck!). But super creepy and I wish I could have explored more!
Also, didn't realize a game could ever be 'too big'?!
Nope, I didn't know.
Also, is it the first or the second door ? this game plays on the on off mechanic of a flashlight, try playing around with it.

You can also play it on browser here.
Playing it with this link means that there are more bugs. Images that don't show properly, the level is completely dark with your flashlight off, it's better to wait until I get the size limit removed for this game. or to download it.
