Intriguing. A bit inscrutable in parts, but the atmosphere and audio is soothing. Congratulations on the submission!

I really liked this one. It's a little janky, but it's the flavor of janky that I like. In the end, I didn't manage to beat it.

The jumping felt mostly fine to me, but the second double jump did create a little ambiguity for me at times. I think if the second jump had some kind of feedback (like the player sprite changing) it may have helped. That said, it wasn't a major issue for me.

The rain mechanic is very cool, a tight and demanding platformer game where you're passively trying to avoid rain makes for a very interesting dynamic. That said, it is difficult to see over the lighter backgrounds.

While I don't personally mind having to restart the game from the beginning, I would have liked if there were some kind of persistence between lives. Making my way across a bunch of screens with precise, meticulous jumps, only to immediately fall in a pit on the farthest screen I've reached hurt my motivation to keep trying after a while. It made it hard to practice and get better at the really tough parts.

The atmosphere in this game is really cool. It's very strange and surreal, I dig the sound design a lot.

This game was super fun! The jump mechanic feels really unique, the closest thing I can liken it to is a hybrid of flappy bird and commander video from super meat boy.  I felt the graphics were really good, I couldn't tell what everything was but it seemed intentional, and everything matched stylistically. I think if the rain were slightly lessened it would be an improvement, as sometimes you just have to wait rather than being able to doge through the projectiles. I got 6 of the collectibles, but after leaving the screen where you go into a small walled off area I got stuck in a wall and was unable to progress. Overall this is one of my favorites of the jam so far, I'd love to see a more complete version!

Haha we almost called the meter in our game "Unluck" as well. I really liked the art in this one, it was a "vibe" as they say - very original. Echoing the other commenter, the jumping physics were somehow confusing. I'd love to see this one fleshed out into a whole creepy world

A little more atari 2600 than gameboy haha but still a very unique feeling game that gets a significant amount of characterization with pretty simple graphics. I was really trying to get the whole thing figured out but eventually gave up, the jumping was a little tough to get right and it was painful to go back to the start every time. If the chair things were checkpoints it would help the pacing a lot imo
