The art has few Assets, but what it does have is very beautiful. If you had put screenshots and option to play in the browser it would be more popular.
It would also be cool to add more mechanics like traps and moving platforms.
I didn't have any problems with FPS and I don't understand Construct, but in the Engines I know, you could have used deltaTime instead of ticks to solve this. Anyway, great job.
It's a beautiful game with a lovely Gameboy feel. Really fun to play. It’s quite challenging at the beginning; once the jam is over, I suggest making the start more approachable. It’s a gorgeous game, and I’d love to see a longer version of it on Steam. Congratulations!
I needed to cut some content off because of the time, but im thinking about improving it and make it better, thx!
The art is amazing and the gameplay is super fun! Very well done!
Im glad you liked it, thx
I finished the game, I am not sure why others can't. I really liked it, it could easily be worked to an endless runner. The art is impressive! Well done!
Thank you!
Hi, Is there a button to accelerate? Otherwise the game is impossible.
Yeah i did some mistakes when programming related to refresh rates, if your refresh rate is higher than 60 the game will speed up unfortunately =c
Art is extremely well done, I'm assuming the gameplay wasn't finished since its impossible to survive over a second, and I can't jump on to the other platforms and the player movement is way too slow compared to the monster. Everything other than the gameplay was done pretty well though, maybe focus on some of the gameplay first next time before putting too much time into everything else. Seriously though, the art and animation of the monster is really good. Also noticed that the monster in my game looks kind of similar.
My mistake using tick rate for speed, sry about that, but thank you for the comment <3
I'll set my refresh rate to 60hz and try it out.
Edit: Got it working, and was able to beat it. Gameplay is very simple and aside from the refresh rate issue I liked how tight some of the jumps were. I upped the gameplay rating a little.
