Good job. It's a tad on the tough side, but it does make you want to keep trying so it pulls of that old school feel.

The game is really hyping! Like, I literally shouted once I beated the boss.

That music got me so pumped up, so I was super disappointed when none of the controls worked for me. :( I'm playing on a mac. Props on the music and art. The character was cute and I liked the enemy art too.

Art looks good and the boss sprite and his attacks are very well done. Dashing and Locking position don’t seem to work, and the hitboxes of the attacks to the player are a little hard to judge. The 4color rule is kind of violated by the title and unpolished UI. Lovely entry :-)
