Very colorful/pretty! I am awful at shmups, but you made the hitboxes small enough (and the bullets slow enough) that I actually beat this on only the third try!
I love the starry background.
There's something eerily empty about the only sound being the sound of me, fucking up. :)
Perhaps you would consider remapping the keys so that the shoot key does not restart the game, I have missed reading my final score several times because of that. Also would be nice if you could shoot fast by holding down the shoot key, fast tapping gets old quickly.
