I like the combination of art and music, it fits well together. For me it was a little too challenging and I fell all the time of the screen, but overall nice game.

Developer

Glad to hear that! Yeah, I think sprinting + jumping and the double jumps could help there :D

The atmosphere of this game is really good, love the art style and feel. One feedback I thought would be good is there were some platforms at one point, if you could implement it so you can jump from below it up through it it would make it feel just a little nicer at that spot. Otherwise I wanted more!! Awesome job :D

Developer

Thank you for playing my game! Awesome to see that you were enjoying it! Thanks for the feedback, I actually thought about implementing that feature but decided against it to make it a bit of a challenge. But I will take your idea into consideration ^^ Also, more will be coming with a proper ending :D

I really like the visuals you chose for the game. Even though you got the art from different sources,  they still mesh well together and don't clash. I also like the double jump mechanic, and the player character controls well. Too bad you didn't have time to include an ending. It seems the level just ends with the player falling to their doom offscreen. Nice job on the submission, though!

Thank you so much for the feedback. I'm glad you liked it. I felt that the double jump was necessary for the game haha. Yes, I tried to find art that I thought would go well together, so it seems I might have succeeded in that part :D I will continue working on it and give it a real end, so it's coming!

It’s a very unforgiving platform, the aesthetics of the sprites, music and sound effects do well together. I don’t know if there’s some ending because I got to the end of the map and nothing happens (excepts the out of map abyss, lol). Nice job, please continue!

Developer

I think the double jump might help you with those platforms if that is what you meant :D Yeah, unfortunately I didn't have time to give it a proper ending, so it doesn't have one yet, I'm planning to continue working on it and give it a proper one. Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The game looked great and the double jump was introduced in a clever and natural way, made the start much easier after that :D The controls felt a bit confusing at first because I felt like I could jump much further because of how high it went, but got used to that pretty quick. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback and I'm happy you enjoyed the experience ^^ I wanted to give the game a proper end and add a couple more things e.g. being able to attack and having the enemies follow and attack you but I didn't have the time to do that.  I will probably continue working on it later on, though. It was fun.
