The music really sets the tone of the urgency to get those kills. The throwing axe is my favorite

This has the bones of being fleshed out into a great game.

I always appreciate effort put into making it a complete game experience i.e. menus, settings, pause menus and this has the works.

Great effort and submission.

First of all, thanks for playing!!! I'm glad you liked the extra touches. Although many would argue I should have spent that effort on extra game content or mechanics, if it made one person's experience better then I'm happy

It's simple, but it feels really nice to play. The controls feel really good and I like the god of war style boomerang axe. Love how the enemies ragdoll when killed.

Thank you for playing, I'm really glad you enjoyed it

I only had a sliver of health left, but I got to 100 kills!

Great job on this! I know you didn't get to add as much as you wanted to, but you still made and submitted something that functions, which is definitely something to be proud of!

Only little nit pick I had was that sometimes while trying to aim the axe to throw it, the character model would end up blocking where I was trying to look. Not sure what the best camera position would be aiming, but maybe something to look into if you decide to keep working on this post jam. Which I totally think you should!

Great job overall!

Thanks for trying it out. I'm aware of the character being in the way, sorry about that. My attempt to orientate it correctly had absolutely terrible results, so this was the lesser of two evils. The code is still there to revisit one day.

Hey! I see that you've put some work into this game. But In my honest opinion, you should've added a couple more mechanics like power-ups or something. Also you could've given a skin to your player character.  I got 31 kills btw :)

Thanks for taking the time to play. There's a ton of things I wanted to do, levels, upgrades, more rogue like gameplay. Unfortunately I just didn't get the time to work on it. Not particularly happy with the submission, will have to do better next time (maybe put in a few days leave from work)

The fact that you are able to do this while working is commendable! Props to you for that!
