Hello! ๐Ÿ‘‹

๐ŸŽฎ Overall: This was an interesting take on the theme, offering a fun and engaging experience.

๐Ÿ˜„ Fun: Running around and keeping up with building and fixing was enjoyable and challenging.

๐Ÿ›ด Theme: The theme was well integrated into the gameplay.

๐ŸŽจ Aesthetics: The art is a bit lacking but defiantly acceptable for a solo dev with a short time constraint.

๐ŸŽถ Music: Adding some casual music to set the scene could enhance the overall experience.

๐Ÿ”Š Sound: Great job on all the sound effects; they added to the immersion.

โš™๏ธ Mechanics: The mechanics were good overall, but repairing buildings too high caused lag and a crash at around 400.

๐Ÿ“– Story: I didn't see a story element implemented.

Great job on the submission! ๐Ÿ‘

Fun game, and I really liked the simple pixel art.

I would have liked more clarification on how much I need to repair the stands to get them to 100% as I repaired the first one to 135 and the seat below it still got damaged, also I noticed that I could hold S and A at the same time and that would allow my character to build a seat any time it was damaged while repairing the stand at the same time, not sure if this was intentional but I felt like I was cheating while doing it, lol.

Great work overall!

Hi LazarusCraven,
We are very happy that you had fun playing our game and thank you for the thorough feedback. When we update it we will make the seat repair part more clear. Love that you have experimented with the controls of the game and found a new way to play.
We hope you will be back to play the finished version and have a lot more fun with racing against the clock.
Thank you

Hi!
Cool game I liked the hectic pace!
So as I am repairing the seats as long as I get them above 100 then the rain won't damage them further? I was just a little confused on that part but I will be back to play more!

Developer

Hi andrewjhaugen. Yes, the idea we had was that the seats would be susceptible to rain damage until they were repaired to 100. The seats would still score past 30, but risk getting damaged. I think we'd try to make that more obvious in a future update. Thank you for playing our game!

Hi Guys... We managed to fix the end screen transition, but unfortunately only after the time allowed for fixing ran out. We will update after the competition and voting has finished. Hope you still enjoy the game. <SpriteyFrog & Gica>

Hi SpriteyFrog! Thanks for adding this comment because I think I did reach the end screen transition and I would have been confused. Sorry that the submission passed after the fix but hey that happens sometimes.

I really enjoyed the pixel art in your game it reminded me of the style of games I had a lot of fun playing when I was very young on my computer. I couldn't quite figure out some of the seat mechanics like what the number on the seat I was building represented.

Overall, I had a great time playing your submission and looking forward to your continued development!

Developer

Hi ericghaugen. The number on the seats was meant to represent how repaired the seat was, but on hindsight, I could have made it a little clearer. Perhaps  in a future update. Thank you for playing our game.

Ahh ok that makes sense! Thanks for clarifying I think I was just too daft because looking at it now I don't see how it could be anything else than that haha ๐Ÿ˜† My brain was probably tired from playing too many games
